So I finally got around to finishing PW3.

Case 1

YOU WOULD NOT BELIEVE THE GIANT GRIN I GOT ON MY FACE WHEN HE APPEARED. And I seriously would just burst out laughing whenever he mentioned his hemorrhoids because I am three years old. I CAN HARDLY TELL WHICH IS MORE INFLAMED. MY SPIRIT... OR MY HEMORRHOIDS
-God, I can't believe Mia quoted the "milkshake song." OF ALL THE PEOPLE TO CRITICIZE SOMEONE ELSE ABOUT THEIR MILKSHAKE >( that was a terrible joke, I know
-Am I the only one who's bothered by the fact that Mia (well, and Phoenix in the first game and stuff) apparently knew, like... nothing about the case or her client or ANYTHING before getting into the trial? Shouldn't Grossberg brief her on this stuff beforehand and give her some evidence to work with, what with being her boss (or mentor or whatever) and all? And that goes especially for a murder trial -- those things take quite some time to prepare. Then again, I hardly know anything about how this stuff works, so.
-Man, I can't read what I was trying to say here. It looks like it says "Mia's nice" or something, but it's all faded and messy so I can't really tell, and even if that IS what it says then it doesn't make much sense. Wtf past self. WHAT WERE YOU TRYING TO TELL ME AAAAAAAAAAA anyway.
-Am I the only one who was really creeped out by how everyone kept hitting on Dahlia? Everyone who hit on her was all old and they were really weird about it and aaaagh. It just squicked me, I dunno.
-Young*Phoenix was adorable :B He was just so happy. SO HAPPY. And I was not expecting him to eat the necklace, wow. Is it just me, or does it seem like they should've... done something about the whole necklace thing? Call an ambulance or something? Everyone was like R U OKAY and then they just went back to the trial. I MEAN, IT MIGHT'VE STILL HAD SOME POISON IN THE BOTTLE AND IT'S ALL METAL AND GLASS AND STUFF Y'KNOW? I MEAN
-Hahahaha, Payne's hair. I was happy to see him again.
-I had already seen Doug Swallow's portrait on Court Records and stuff, and... I was actually really expecting him to be related to Matt Engarde in some way, or that he was a younger version of Matt or something :O They just look really similar, y'know? I guess not, though.
-I really like Dahlia's sprite where she's all "evil" and kinda looking off to the side snootily with her hand in her hair and stuff. It's really well-drawn, they really got her personality and mood down in that sprite, I think :D
-I had already been spoiled about the "Dahlia is evil" thing beforehand, so that didn't really come as a surprise. I wasn't expecting her to play such a big part, though.
Case 2
-GUUUUUUUUMMMMMMSSSSHHHHHHOOOOOEEEEEEE I WAS SO HAPPY TO SEE HIM AGAIN I MISSED YOU GUMSHOE
-I WAS ALSO REALLY HAPPY TO SEE ADRIAN AGAIN she was really cute in this game :D
-Heh, Luke Atmey. It took me the longest time to realize the pun in his name :B OH, "LOOK AT ME." I GET IT.
But yeah, Luke was pretty cool. He drove me kinda nuts in court, though. Oh yeah, I'm looking at Court Records right now, and apparently his Japanese name comes from the phrase "ai ga hoshii dake," which means "I just want love." "Look at me" and "I just want love." Really makes me feel pretty sorry for the guy :<
-I like Ron a lot. I want to eat his hair. Also, his speech patterns remind me of my own a lot (aside from the all the girly screeching, that is). Rambly and self-correcting and enevitably trailing off into nothing
The "romantic story" about how Desiree and Ron first met cracked me up. STOP THAT RIGHT NOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWW. Then Phoenix got all weepy about it, hahaha.

-GODOT! I was real excited about seeing him in this game, and he did not disappoint me at all :D Well, except for a couple of things later, but I wont get into that now.

-I was glad Desiree didn't turn out to be bad or anything, because I liked her a lot. YOU NEVER KNOW WHO'S GONNA WIND UP BEIN' EVIL IN THESE GAMES
-MAYA CALLING LUKE (or was it Ron? can't remember) AND PHOENIX ATTENTION WHORES. You are my hero, Maya.

-Gumshoe/Maggey is like pure, concentrated sugar.
-HAAAAAAAAA Armstrong. ARMSTRONG. I was really relieved when he wasn't actually the villain in the end, since I was worried about that for a minute.
-Meh, Victor was... okay. I dunno. I just don't like the "perverted old man" character type very much. He did have some good points, though. And I like his theme song a lot, haha.
-Hahaha Furio impersonating Phoenix. FURIO CRACKED ME UP IN GENERAL, REALLY. JUST POPS OUT OF NOWHERE AND STARTS TRASH-TALKING PHOENIX, THEN RIDES AWAY ON HIS SCOOTER COVERED IN BIRD DROPPINGS. Not to mention the all-caps "roaring" that went on for like twenty text boxes. FURIO IS THE GREATEST

-I like Miles just fine when he's older, but man he was a douche when he was young. I DON'T APPRECIATE THAT "BIMBO" COMMENT, EDGEWORTH
-Guh, Terry D: That was terribly depressing, and only gets more heart-breaking the more you think about it. I mean, he obviously mentally retarded, and he just totally trusted Dahlia and believed in her no matter what, to the point where he killed himself for her to carry out a promise that she wasn't going to keep, and she was just taking advantage of his handicaps the whole time and nnnnngggh. And he just suddenly starts coughing up blood in the middle of the case... agh, now I'm just upsetting myself.
I've heard people hailing that as the most depressing case in the series, but as for me, it's a tie between that and case 3 in PW2. Acro :<
Case 5
-BIKINI IS AWESOOOOOMEEEEE. She totally reminded me of my old teacher for some reason :B I felt so sorry for her, though, with her poor ol' back and everything. Glad she didn't wind up being a bad guy.
-ARTIST LARRY. It made me sad that everyone kept ragging on his drawing :< I kinda liked it! I would've liked to see more of his artwork, actually. ...what?
-I liked Elise a lot, and when I found out about her TRUE IDENTITY it only made me more sad. Also, cane swords.
-Every time I read the name "Iris," I just thought of that one Megaman clip. WHAT AM I FIGHTING FOOOOOOOOOOOORRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
-Hahahaha Phoenix running across a burning bridge and falling into a raging river. That was a pretty intense moment and everything, but I still thought it was funny for some reason. OH PHOENIX, YOU'RE SUCH A MAN~
-I liked playing as Edgeworth and getting to see inside his MIIIIIIND and stuff :B I bet that part is gonna be really useful for fanficcers.
AND I LOVED HAVING GUMSHOE AS A SIDEKICK AKLFGJHD AS SOON AS GUMSHOE SHOWED UP THE FIRST THING I THOUGHT WAS "MAN IT WOULD BE AWESOME IF HE FOLLOWED ME AROUND LIKE MAYA DOES" AND THEN HE DID I WAS SO HAPPY
-I would've liked to see Edgeworth visiting Phoenix in the hospital. I think it would've been really hilarious, what with him wearing that ridiculous hood and babbling about spiritual power and invisible, lie-detecting locks. I totally need to draw that, now.

-I liked the part where Gumshoe tried to eat the magatama and Edgeworth was like "okay, maybe his salary IS a little low." GEE, Y'THINK. I wonder if this is a sign that he'll raise it?wishful thinking, probably

-Yaaaaaaay Franziska! She seemed a bit... nicer in this game. Maybe it's just me. And haha, Pearl yelling at her. That was awesome. Then Godot dissed her, later. FRANZISKA GOT A SMACKDOWN or something
Also, is it just me, or does it seem like Franziska should have a German accent? Wasn't she raised there and everything? :O Then she has like this perfect American accent when she objects and all. I dunno, nitpicking.
I liked it when she followed Phoenix around, haha.
-Awwwww Maggey getting Gumshoe a new coat. And Edgeworth treating Gumshoe to pasta :D So much love.
-Am I the only one who thought them swinging Elise's body all over the place was hilarious? Am I just a terrible person? And it doesn't help that when you say Larry's drawing was exactly what he saw, Phoenix says something like "OF COURSE THE BODY FLEW THROUGH THE AIR! WOOOOOOOSH!" Phoenix I swear
-Dahlia's >:D face made me jump when I first saw it.
-I was kinda sad to hear the truth about Morgan, since I actually sort of liked her :< I thought she really cared about Pearl.
-I was kinda worried that Maya actually WAS dead for a minute, there. So worried that I apparently wrote it in my notebook twice. MAYA DEAD? MAYA DEAD???
But yes. I mean, I hadn't heard anything about her being in GS4 or anything, so... :O I'm glad she was alright. Her mental state while she was testifying worried me, though.
-Mia telling off Dahlia was the most awesome thing in the game by far. I love Mia so much.
-Dahlia's spirit popping out and screaming is another thing that made me jump. Then once I got over that I just thought it was cheesy. IT'S A BOSS FIGHT :B
-OH MY GOD THE JUDGE REFERENCED THE "SPOONY BARD" LINE FROM FFIV OH MY GOD I DON'T KNOW WHY THAT MADE ME SO RIDICULOUSLY HAPPY BUT IT JUST PUT THIS HUGE GRIN ON MY FACE. I'm sure it probably wouldn't have made me as happy as it did if it weren't for the fact that I'm screencapping that game right now, but still!
-I love Godot to death, but his HAET!!1 for Phoenix was just... dumb. There's no way Phoenix could have known about any of the things Godot was blaming him for, and there's no way Phoenix could have done anything Redd murdering Mia when he wasn't there. There's really nothing ANYONE could have done, and it seems weird that Godot would obsessively hate PHOENIX, of all people. That whole concept was really poorly executed and difficult to believe, and I didn't care for it at all. Sorry, Godot :(
-Phoenix/Iris... ehhhhhh. Don't care for that pairing. I think the main thing that bugs me about it is that since Dahlia and Iris are twins and all, it seems like Phoenix would just see Dahlia whenever he looks at Iris. That, and I just think it's kinda boring :B
-Awwww, the ending was cute. With Larry coming in and asking for hugs and Gumshoe treating everyone to a dinner at Tres Bien :>
-When Maya and Phoenix found Pearl and Maya started talking about how she was happy despite her mother being dead, because she has so many people who care about her... as much as I hate to admit it, I cried a little. I think a lot of it is because it made me think of some personal things, but I don't really feel comfortable getting into that on a public entry. HONK HONK ANGSTY PAST EXPERIENCES COMIN' THROUGH

Also, did anyone notice when they were doing that objection montage thing, Edgeworth was on the defence's side? :O Did he decide to switch sides or something? Hmmmmm...
Overall, I had fun. It's not my favorite in the series (PW2 still has that position), but I don't think it was a bad edition at all :D NOW IT'S ON TO GS4! I'm pretty excited about GS4, I have to say. I'm looking forward to seeing what the new cast is like.

-Am I the only one who thought them swinging Elise's body all over the place was hilarious? Am I just a terrible person? And it doesn't help that when you say Larry's drawing was exactly what he saw, Phoenix says something like "OF COURSE THE BODY FLEW THROUGH THE AIR! WOOOOOOOSH!" Phoenix I swear
-Dahlia's >:D face made me jump when I first saw it.
-I was kinda sad to hear the truth about Morgan, since I actually sort of liked her :< I thought she really cared about Pearl.
-I was kinda worried that Maya actually WAS dead for a minute, there. So worried that I apparently wrote it in my notebook twice. MAYA DEAD? MAYA DEAD???
But yes. I mean, I hadn't heard anything about her being in GS4 or anything, so... :O I'm glad she was alright. Her mental state while she was testifying worried me, though.
-Mia telling off Dahlia was the most awesome thing in the game by far. I love Mia so much.
-Dahlia's spirit popping out and screaming is another thing that made me jump. Then once I got over that I just thought it was cheesy. IT'S A BOSS FIGHT :B
-OH MY GOD THE JUDGE REFERENCED THE "SPOONY BARD" LINE FROM FFIV OH MY GOD I DON'T KNOW WHY THAT MADE ME SO RIDICULOUSLY HAPPY BUT IT JUST PUT THIS HUGE GRIN ON MY FACE. I'm sure it probably wouldn't have made me as happy as it did if it weren't for the fact that I'm screencapping that game right now, but still!
-I love Godot to death, but his HAET!!1 for Phoenix was just... dumb. There's no way Phoenix could have known about any of the things Godot was blaming him for, and there's no way Phoenix could have done anything Redd murdering Mia when he wasn't there. There's really nothing ANYONE could have done, and it seems weird that Godot would obsessively hate PHOENIX, of all people. That whole concept was really poorly executed and difficult to believe, and I didn't care for it at all. Sorry, Godot :(
-Phoenix/Iris... ehhhhhh. Don't care for that pairing. I think the main thing that bugs me about it is that since Dahlia and Iris are twins and all, it seems like Phoenix would just see Dahlia whenever he looks at Iris. That, and I just think it's kinda boring :B
-Awwww, the ending was cute. With Larry coming in and asking for hugs and Gumshoe treating everyone to a dinner at Tres Bien :>
-When Maya and Phoenix found Pearl and Maya started talking about how she was happy despite her mother being dead, because she has so many people who care about her... as much as I hate to admit it, I cried a little. I think a lot of it is because it made me think of some personal things, but I don't really feel comfortable getting into that on a public entry. HONK HONK ANGSTY PAST EXPERIENCES COMIN' THROUGH

-Aw, the credits. Adrian and Franziska meeting, Desiree and Ron starting that Mask DeMasque thing, Victor's grandkids throwing a birthday party, Maggey and Gumshoe, Oldbag... and I liked Larry's line. Something like "Self-centered, lazy, anti-social... I'm an artist!" SO TRUE
Also, did anyone notice when they were doing that objection montage thing, Edgeworth was on the defence's side? :O Did he decide to switch sides or something? Hmmmmm...
Overall, I had fun. It's not my favorite in the series (PW2 still has that position), but I don't think it was a bad edition at all :D NOW IT'S ON TO GS4! I'm pretty excited about GS4, I have to say. I'm looking forward to seeing what the new cast is like.
