Chain of Screenshots: Part 11
Ow jesus I have this random cut in my mouth and it's really painful agh
That said, it's time for another edition of Chain of Screenshots! Wish came over yesterday and we played CoM and WITH OUR POWERS COMBINED we bring you this episode.
Previously on Chain of Memories...
So, remember last time when I mentioned a strange new world card?
Well, that card is...
THAT'S RIGHT.
TWILIGHT TOWN.
Now if you've yet to play KH2 then you probably don't know why this is so surprising but oh man Wish and I were just sitting here going HOLY CRAP the whole time we played through it. It was so weird.
CLOCK TOWER OH MY GOD
Man, Sora's face came out really weird in this shot.

oh great he's busting out the charm again
Dude DUDE wasn't there a meteor shower scene in KH1? Like at the end sequence or something? Or was that just sparkles?
Pffhaha that gives me these really funny mental images.
... so did Sora just hear Namine's voice, or is Namine watching this from the castle and that was supposed to indicate her talking to herself or WHAT WHAT WAS THAT IMPLYING

Argh, I really should've taken some field shots or something but I didn't :<

Okay I think I'm starting to see what Vexen meant by "memories from the other side of your heart" but I can't say anything because it's a FREAKING KH2 SPOILER
Hey hey, I kind of got a shot of him appearing!
And I also can't say anything about Namine because that's ALSO A KH2 SPOILER

Vexen was a lot more difficult this time around. It's too bad Wish and I weren't recording ourselves or anything as we played through this, because while we were fighting him we were freaking out trying to stay alive. NO NO NO GET OUT OF THERE HURRY AND HEAL AAAAAAA OH GOD I'MMA SLIDIN' AROUND
Also, Vexen had this attack where he'd summon ice spikes and have them chase you and before he'd use that attack, he'd belt out a deep, menacing HA! to intimidate you. Listen.
He was soon vanquished!
HIS STARE IS SO INTENSE
When I first read that I thought he was referring to Riku. Like if Sora kept going after Namine then Riku would suffer for some reason, but now that I think about it then that doesn't make much sense. Although I guess Vexen could use that to kind of hold Riku and Namine at ransom and make Sora do whatever he wanted, but still, I doubt that's what he meant. JUST A THOUGHT, WHATEVER

You can only imagine Wish and I's reactions to this, but PUTTING THAT ASIDE for a moment, I now see what Marluxia meant when he said "rid us of our traitor." I thought he was talking about Riku or something YES I'M SLOW AND YES EVERYONE IS VAGUELY REFERRING TO RIKU. SHUT UP.
Still, though. That is so awesome.
Sora: goddamnit
Organization XIII is like a child-friendly version of the mafia.
Him seeing Namine will aid the Organization somehow? I have a theory as to exactly HOW, but it's a KH2 SPOILER. DAMNIT.

Hey, a new Namine sprite. She's like HAURRR
WAIT.
If Vexen is dead then he can't be controlling Riku anymore, yet Riku is still acting the way he was, before. Why would he be protecting Namine from Sora? Since when was Sora a threat to her? I wonder if this is something like Hollow Bastion where Belle was acting like a jerkface because she was hiding something, or if that's a fake Riku. I'd say that maybe someone ELSE was controlling Riku, but that would just be silly.

QUIT STEALING MY PROMISES YOU JERK
The screen flashed this purpley color a few times and but I didn't get a good shot. I wonder if it was an ORGANIZATION MEMBER PLANTING THINGS INTO RIKU'S BRAIN
HOW DARE YOU PRETEND TO BE A DINOSAUR
Riku was pretty challenging, but easy compared to Vexen (at least he didn't GUARD CONSTANTLY). He kept pulling a Sephiroth, though, and would jump in the air and stab you with his sword. And then he would keep doing that... OTHER THAN THAT THOUGH he wasn't too bad.
I was hoping for a Riku card :< I can already imagine him looking all angry on it.
WHY IS EVERYTHING A CARD
Yeah, seriously.
Hahaha, Sora doesn't even question what happens to him anymore.
SERIOUSLY.
THINKING IS FOR QUITTERS
Meanwhile in the mystery room.
She looks like a mouse.
cursing in a KH game this is strange and new to me :O :O
And he remained that way for six hours straight.
AND WITH THAT, TODAY'S EPISODE HAS COME TO A CLOSE
Seriously, though, I dig this. As fun as it is to goof around in Disney worlds, I like to be able to get on with the actual story and see me some character development and plot twists. Not to mention that everything is getting kind of eerie and I'm a sucker for creepy stuff like this so I'm all giddy and happy and yay
