So apparently the whole ice thing was a lot worse than I thought. The ice has melted over here, at least, so trees aren't snapping anymore. We did get a big ol' limb in our driveway, though. Good thing we parked on the street that day :O We haven't lost power (though the cable and Internet went out for a while the other day), but it's still possible that we will (Dad noted that the apartments near our neighborhood went out recently, when they had power before. sooooo). If we do, then I apologize in advance if Christmas pictures are late. I should at least be able to mail out cards, though. Gonna see if I can do that within the next week or so.

This is oddly depressing. I think it's the music. ...though is it weird that I was more concerned for the iron than the chocolate bunny in the first one?

God I used to LOVE Power Rangers. I watched Mighty Morphin', though, I never really saw any of the other ones. But man, watching this reminded me of these old comics I drew when I was a little kid, where they were all pretty much just flimsy excuses to draw the most epic fight scenes I could come up with (usually between video game characters) :D I really ought to scan that one Pixie and Dragon comic I did. THE ENEMY WAS A PIMP AND HE HAD AN ARMY OF NINJAS. CAN YOU GET MORE EPIC THAN THAT?
But yeah, in retrospect, I can really see where my inspiration came from.

It's really bad :< And that news article doesn't even take place in our town, since I couldn't find a good one that did. It may be worse here, who knows.
What's even "better" is that we have more storms coming. I think these may be more snow-like than ice-like, though, which we can handle. I'm not sure, though.

Ugh, and I've been hearing all this terrible stuff about our old house; the one I grew up in. Apparently it looks like a tornado went through the neighborhood and destroyed everything. I kind of want to see for myself, but at the same time it'd probably make me weep like a little girl. Nngh...
