Time?:

I've had a .txt file of this entry sitting around since, like... Monday. I THINK THIS JUST GOES TO SHOW HOW LAZY (and distractable) I AM
Anyway, over the weekend we went to my grandparents' B&B and stayed for a while and stuff. It wasn't very eventful, but it was still pretty nice :D They had customers staying while we were there which was kind of awkward at times, but they were friendly and stuff so it was cool. And JoAnne accidentally served us fermented orange juice the day we left. WHOOP
On the night the day we got back, Mom and Sarah apparently heard a really loud, bizarre, animalistic noise that went on for a few minutes at 5AM. Apparently it sounded like someone honking and screaming. Or a honkyscream. Mom said she looked outside and didn't see anything, and also that she called the police and they didn't find anything. And not only THAT, but Mom and I also looked around outside for signs of anything and also didn't find anything. We have dubbed this strange phenomenon the 'Goose Lady'. And I had also completely forgotten about it until I opened up this file. lol memory
AND OH OH OH I GOT THE GREATEST NEWS EVER EVERYBODY READ THIS ESPECIALLY YOU

wishwashing
Okay, I don't think I've ever really mentioned this before, but my second cousin is an actress who goes by the stage name Renee Victor (here's her IMDb profile HEY COOL SHE WAS ON ER), and she's in this movie called Hollywood Familia, right? Well, apparently the movie was never shown in our town so Mom wrote an e-mail to the theater telling them about it, asking them to show it, mentioning that her cousin was in the movie and so on. So the theater e-mailed her back asking if Stella (Renee. whatever. I'll just call her Stella) would like to make an appearance at the theater and talk to the audience and stuff. So Mom called Stella about it and not ONLY does she want to do it, but she wants to bring her director, Frank Aragon! :D AND HE SAID YES! I think. I'm 90% sure, anyway. ANYWAY the movie is apparently supposed to air here in September, and Stella will definitely be there.
Blaire, Wish, you guys need to come. Bring your friends and family and come see Stella. According to her the movie actually isn't that great BUT THAT'S OKAY because Stella will be there and she is the nicest person in the world :D :D I'll be sure to let you two know when there's a specific date, but until then, try and keep your September schedule somewhat flexible! Or something. WEE
Wow, that paragraph went all over the place. SO HAPPY CAN'T TYPE LOL
Weeee what else was I gonna talk about... I think that might be all the news I have, life-wise. So LINKS!
Soul Calibur 3 - Kafra Girls Special - This makes me so happy and I don't even know why. I need to get Soul Calibur 3, that reminds me.
Ragnarok the Animation Parody Subtitles - Episode 01 - God I hope they do the whole series.
Serial Experiments Lain - Episode 1 - Part 1, Part 2, Part 3 - This is a very pretty, well-done anime that can be seriously creepy at times. It's a little slow and might not be for everyone, but I thought it was kinda neat :O
Panda-Z - Episode 2 - Am I just crazy, or do those batteries look delicious? Like steamed carrots or something.
Excel Saga - Episode 1 - Part 1, Part 2, Part 3 - Is basically just slapstick. A lot of people will probably just think this is stupid and loud and obnoxious, but I personally thought it was kinda funny. LOUD AND OBNOXIOUS IS JUST HOW I ROLL I GUESS LOL.
Justice For All trailer - I was totally getting into this until it showed Phoenix and Franziska engulfed in flames of the LAW. Then I just cracked up. Also, there's a part in this where it tells you the premise for a few of the cases so if you want the whole game to be a surprise then I'd reccommend skipping this :O
The Dears - 22: The Death of All the Romance - A cute, but also incredibly depressing music video.
Parappa Rappa Anime Intro - AND ON THAT NOTE, FUNK! I want that song. I've actually never played a Parappa Rappa game before, but now I want to :B I should pick it up and stuff.
I have no idea what this is.
TIDUS HUNGRY - HAHAHAHAHA
First part of FFX-2 - Oh god, FFX-2. It's friggin Charlie's Angels meets Final Fantasy. This takes a while to fully load, and it's slightly laggy, AND the sound is a little quiet, but the horror still remains!
Heh, but the sad part about that game is that it's actually very fun and addicting to play, and also a great pick-me-up. Not to mention some of the music is pretty catchy :O Oh yeah, and if you're too lazy to wait for that video to load, you can just watch the very opening and still get a nice juicy dose of sheer corniness. And, of course, now I really wanna start a new game on it. AGH
Sly 2 Ad - La-La - The only accurate description of this is "wtf."
Sly Cooper - Sunset Snake Eyes - MOVING ON, the games themselves are actually tons of fun :D This is the intro to one of the chapters in Thievius Racconus, and as you can see, the game has a very "Saturday morning cartoon" feel to it. It is very neat indeed!
Magic Pengel & Graffiti Kingdom montage - I could never get the hang of that frickin doodle system and did not have the patience to collect color pigments, so this is really impressive to me :O And I went looking for that song played in the video and couldn't find it on LimeWire, so I just recorded it off the video. If anyone happens to have the song or at least a clearer recording of it or something, then it'd be completely awesome if you could send it to me :>
Random SNL skit - Hahahahaaa, Conan.
WarioWare: Smooth Moves - "Instructional Videos" - Like the video comments say, this totally reminds me of Deep Thoughts :D Still haven't played this game yet but man do I want to. I should see if I can rent it or something.
I completely forgot to mention this, but I played Dirge of Cerberus several months ago. I was really only playing it because I wanted to see Cid, but the gameplay (among other things) frustrated me so much I put it down and never played it again. Then a few days ago I was thinking about it and realized I could just look the cutscenes up on YouTube and avoid such frustration. DUHHHH. Don't watch these if you don't want to be spoiled or anything.
Vincent! Long time! - It would've been funny if he crashed the ship. HEY VINCENT *BOOM*
Just Like Old Times - snerrrrrk.
Cid's Fleet - And here you can see the AMAZING VOICE ACTING. IT'S TIME TO GET UP AND GOOOOO COME ON GET ON BOOOOOOARD
Cait Sith - We need your help once MOREAAAAAAGGH. Okay this one has nothing to do with Cid but I'm posting it anyway because OH MY GOD CAIT SITH'S VOICE my jaw dropped when I first heard it in the game. NOT WHAT I WAS EXPECTING AT ALL. Also, those new villain guys are completely lame. And for some reason they all wear clothing with glowing, bright blue streaks. MASTARZ OF DISGAISE
Yuffie Returns - And this clip just annoys me. They friggin turned FF7 into Kingdom Hearts. And Yuffie's voice burns holes into my soul. God. GOD
Intro video - I am never going to understand how Yuffie is HALF-NAKED when it's like a HURRICANE outside and is completely unaffected by it, while the workers and stuff seem like they're kind of fighting against it. Wtf. And why is she commanding all of them, anyway? And why is she suddenly friends with Vincent even though they barely interacted before and when they did then it was usually negative? Didn't Vincent say she was immature or something in FF7 or am I imagining things? Then again, Rufus was supposed to be DEAD and BLOWN UP FROM INSIDE A SKYSCRAPER but he popped back to life in Advent Children with nothing but a wheelchair and a bandage on his head so I guess Square has already kind of proven that they have no problem with making random alterations to the original plotline/characters if it'll help the plot for all the new FF7 junk they've produced but STILL.
And I always pronounced "Lucrecia" as "lu-cree-see-ah," but here they're pronouncing it almost like "lu-cret-see-ah." They're also pronouncing Shinra as "sheen-ra," when I always said it as "shin-ra" :O Huh.
and lol, vincent drinks wine. and can jump a billion feet in the air and still stick a perfect landing. Actually, I just like how dramatic Vincent is in that whole scene. Striking poses and stuff. WHAT A LOSER
This is the longest commentary for a video I've ever written.
Gameplay footage - 0:45 of this shows the mission where I stopped playing the game, which isn't very far in at all :B I just got really frustrated, because if you die during a mission then it sends you back to the very beginning of the mission instead of letting you keep going where you left off. It wouldn't be so bad if you had a little more freedom and could just go where you need to go, but instead you have to kill all the enemies on one floor before you can move on to the next (and it usually takes, what... 6 or so bullets per enemy? this is going by memory, I could be wrong), and then once you clear all the floors you have to chase these guys on an elevator, and then you have to find some guy who fires an endless amount of bullets at you on sight without really giving you time to recover, and then you have to clear out the enemies in the halls, and then you go through some different halls and clear out more enemies and I THINK those halls finally lead you to the boss fight. But I wouldn't know, since I got all the way in those halls and DIED (after having died several times during other parts of the mission) and that's when I finally said screw it.
But from what I played... I dunno. The game had some fun moments and I liked seeing some old characters, but I just can't get really get into all this new-fangled FF7 stuff. This is all just personal taste, though :O Some of you may really enjoy yourselves if you ever decide to try it out. I really do reccommend playing and beating the original game, though. Maybe that's what I should do for the next screencap thing?
Anyway, that's all for now. Sorry this wound up being so giant!

Then, of course, once I started preschool (Catholic, I think) I got in trouble for telling some kid I'd "kick his ass" :B I can't remember if I was being serious or not or what the kid did to provoke it since I don't even remember saying it, but apparently the teacher called my parents and was like IF YOU DON'T TEACH THAT DEMON CHILD SOME DICIPLINE I'M THROWING HER OUT OF THE SCHOOL!!1 even though most of the time I was quiet and kept to myself. It was just that one thing.
THOOOOOSE WERE THE DAAAAAAAAAAAYS
