This filthy jar reminds me of a puzzle...
Sep. 10th, 2008 04:08 amThanks so much for the birthday wishes, everyone! ♥ I love you guys~ I had a great one.
so you guys
professor layton
is awesome
I can't stop playing it, it's just so creative and charming and the puzzles are so addictive *_* I'm only on... the beginning of chapter 3, I think? And I'm already in love with it. WILL PROBABLY DRAW BUCKETLOADS OF FANART
God, though, you know what I hate? Sliding puzzles. Goddamn worm with his stupid apple I hate you
Haha, I solved that geometry puzzle in the beginning without doing any calculations or really knowing what I was doing at all. LUCKY GUESSING, GO
ALSO man I had a feeling this game was going to make my OCD tendencies flare up like nothing else and hahaha was I ever right. SOLVE A PUZZLE? SAVE. GET HINT COINS? SAVE. WATCH A CUTSCENE? SAVE. TALK TO SOMEONE? SAVE. GET AN ITEM? SAVE. MOVE? SAVE. GET AN ANSWER WRONG AND/OR USE TOO MANY HINT COINS? RESTART THE GAME. MY SCORE MUST BE PERFECT
Oh! And apparently there's this new version of the XBox 360 out that my brother needs to get for work, so he's getting that, and then he's going to send me his old one as a present 8D I'M SO EXCITED, YOU HAVE NO IDEA. John is such a sweetheart.
But yeah, I got Bioshock. I have to admit, while I know it's going to be awesome, I'm... pretty nervous about playing it. It looks really freaky. :< Killing (or not killing) little girls and Big Daddies and monsters and the ocean oh man those YouTube clips alone are probably going to give me nightmares. WHY AM I THE BIGGEST WUSS
And I just found this while looking for Bioshock clips, hahaha. That is precious 8D
Oh, I got FFIV DS! I'm not very far in (just finished blowing up Mist, lol), but so far I'm really loving it. They kept everything from the old game, even little things like the "Ouch!" text box when you examine the fireplace. The only differences are the 3D graphics and the dialogue actually making sense :B
Haha, Cecil sounds like he's fifteen and Kain sounds like he's both forty and smokes about twelve packs a day. Also, the voice acting in general is just hilarious. WHHHHHYYYYYYYYY
I also got God of War II. I want to play it, but I... don't even have the first one. Man.
Got Resident Evil 4: Wii Version, which I've been having fun with. I was really looking forward to playing it with the Perfect Shot gun (which I also got!), but it turns out that the trigger presses on the B button, which just aims your gun and doesn't shoot it. To shoot you have to press A, and to do that you have to either use your other hand, which is controlling the nunchuck, or awkwardly twist your gunhand around to press it, which usually ends up with you being unable to press either button sufficiently, dropping the controller, and/or having horrible hand cramps. Also, you can't change the controller configuration. NO PERFECT SHOT GUN FOR THAT GAME though I did get House of the Dead which I still need to check out
I really want to roleplay the merchant and I have no idea why. He wouldn't do anything except call people "stranga'" and try to sell them things from his coat
BLAH BLAH BLAH VIDEO GAMES BLAH BLAH
