supercharitygo, i just wanted to let everyone know that i've started an for victims of typhoon ondoy (and eventually pepeng/parma)! for everyone who wanted to join last time and never got the chance (OR JUST ANYONE EVER), NOW is a great time to do so! there's no apps this time, so feel free to jump in any time you're ready. the end date is november 30th.
a quick rundown of scg for anyone who forgot: it's basically just artists of all skill levels (and "artist" includes writers, graphic-makers, musicians, etc) doing what they do for charity. the donor donates to the charity of their choice (in this case, any charity that's supporting victims in the philippines), and their donation is a token that allows them to "commission" the artists. YOU donate DIRECTLY to the charity, so NONE of the donations go through any of the volunteers. also keep in mind that it's not strictly money donations, and item donations such as food and clothing are also totally acceptable.
the philippines is in really bad shape right now, so please contribute, or at least spread the word! you can do as much or as little as you want, you can work it around your schedule, and it would mean the world to so many people. THERE'S NO REASON NOT TO DO IT, C'MON GUYS
