NEVER A FROOOOOWN

man, this week was a really off week for art. i just had zero motivation to draw anything, aaaand instead wound up playing video games, for the most part. it's soooort of come back today, though, so maybe next week will have more.
anyway,

edgeworth
and a beautiful princess

i've kind of been missing the whole ace attorney series for some reason. it's tempting to just replay the whole series, haha.

WHILE WAITING FOR THE INFORMANT TO START the lights were dim so i had no idea what i was doing at all hahahaha
the guy was actually in some stupid pre-movie ad. he had a really horrible white, curly wig that was falling off and he was talking about insurance or something. so i drew his head on a giraffe zebra swirl thing, makes sense.
the informant was decent, btw. i kind of expected more, though; the humor was all super dry and really just got a few chuckles rather than roaring laughter or anything, and the story wasn't told very well. i loved it from an artistic point of view, though, it had some really great shots and style and facial features and

real men wear skates everywhere
also, the "silence your cellphones" thing for our theater is very mysterious. it shows the logo against a starry night sky while a mist crawls across near the bottom, and a soothing woman's voice tells us to turn our phones off all while tinkly, mystical music plays in the background. then the projector screwed up and the screen froze for like ten minutes and it totally ruined the whole effect

hahaha i got around to finishing this just MERE MOMENTS before making this post. i like how edgeworth came out, but something about gumshoe's throwing me off. MIGHT FIX LATER?
mr edgeworth sir i don't think you're going to find much evidence in this blank half-assed background
no annoying double post this week since i only have one tiny doodle for that, too boring
so, a couple of nights ago the electrical box thing in our backyard blew up and we had to call 911. everything was all right, but it startled the hell out of us since the lights just suddenly flickered and dimmed until they were nearly off and there was this ridiculously loud BZZZZZ noise, and when you looked out the downstairs windows it was just completely white everywhere. then the neighbor knocked on our door and told us our yard was on fire. OH.
it wound up being a pretty minor thing, though; didn't even lose power (though the people behind us did hohoho). probably the best part was when the manly, mustachioed PSO guy showed up and wrestled with LIVE WIRES (WHILE THEY WERE SETTING FIRE TO THINGS) while making cool one-liners in a grizzly southern accent. the electronics were going crazy while he did that, too. IT WAS SO COOL though i'm glad i turned my computer off when i heard his truck
tired of my sides killing me when i sit a certain way ow ow ow ow ow stop stop stop

Date: 2009-10-12 08:01 pm (UTC)the main thing we learned from the whole thing is that we really need to update our security. we had NO idea where the fire extinguisher was when we looked for it, and i think it's like 25 years old anyway.
