Voting's still open over here if you still wanna sneak in. It's probably gonna be a while before I start on anything, since right now I just wanna mess with my new stuff |B
Heh, they were playing these old Pokemon episodes on Cartoon Network, today. I haven't seen those episodes in yeeears. They even played the one where James' parents try to get him to marry Jessebelle, which is one of my favorites. And man, they even played the first movie which just brought back this TIDAL WAVE of memories. It was weird watching it after having seen this, though, since that explains so much and adds a lot of depth to the plot and Mewtwo's character, and then it's just... not there. It felt weird without it. :< I guess it got cut out because the girl dies or something? I don't know.
Our pool just... broke. Got this big tear in it and flooded our yard, and probably the neighbors'. That's gonna be expensive to fix. It was raining when it broke, at least, so the neighbors will HOPEFULLYYYYYY just think it's the rain and not us, and we aren't going to get a lynch mob at the front door or anything. knock on wood
So, I'm sixteen! And I got an office chair! Man this thing is nice. I also got a bunch of games. Like Bully! And Hotel Dusk! And Guitar Hero II (with a guitar)! And Super Paper Mario! And Warioware: Smooth Moves! And Splinter Cell! And Timesplitters! And... maybe something else. I can't remember. But everything I got was awesome :D And it was a very quiet party, which I liked. I didn't want this big "sweet sixteen lol" thing.
Aaaaaand Sarah's birthday was yesterday, so happy birthday to her! :O We both got Gryffindor scarves. I'm tempted to get the Quidditch goggles as well, though I'd probably get beaten up immediately. They're pretty cool, though, you have to admit.
But yeah. Thanks to everyone who wished me a happy birthday! It means a lot to me 8D
And now if you'll excuse me, I think I'm gonna hook the PS2 up downstairs and have a Guitar Hero fest.

Date: 2007-09-09 06:11 am (UTC)okay, yesterday, whoops! :DThey even played the one where James' parents try to get him to marry Jessebelle, which is one of my favorites.
I heard about that! I never watched much Pokemon (I liked Team Rocket a lot better than the main characters but from the few episodes I saw it seemed like they got a lot less face time and that they pretty much, you know, lost mostly, and I like to see characters I like get closer to their goals and not get smacked all the time) BUT this one time I found this site... I think it was a James shrine (or maaaybe a Jessebelle shrine; it was a while ago), and it had all this backstory about it, and screencaps, and audio clips. :D And it was all, wheeee, you mean they did do development for Team Rocket?
And Jesse isn't James's big sis?So it was really neat.Haha awesome, it looks like Final Fantasy and Legend of Mana are tied. XD

Date: 2007-09-09 06:28 pm (UTC)i wrote this pretty late, so don't worry about it :BYEAH that's one of the reasons I love that episode so much, it just really deepens the characters so they aren't just the goofy, incompetent villains that are just there for comic relief. THEY GOT DREAMS MAN well, and James has also been my favorite character ever since childhood and that episode is all about him, so 8B
Man, I wish I could find that episode somewhere and show it to you, but I can't find it on YouTube OR Veoh D: And Veoh keeps giving me episode 48 for all these OTHER shows, just to taunt me. NO I DON'T WANT BLEACH AND INUYASHA AND FULL MOON WO SAGAWHATEVER I SAID POKEMON OKAY JGHAdfgrgl
Hahaha SQUARESOFT SHOWDOWN, WHO WILL WIN?

Date: 2007-09-09 08:49 pm (UTC)I looked on YouTube too but even a search for just "Jessebelle" got no results. :( I did find this (http://youtube.com/watch?v=f2f6WdmqLhQ), though. XD I love how James is wearing a dress for it. And this! (http://youtube.com/watch?v=C3buUoJuxTI) Man, suddenly I want to just spend the day watching Team Rocket stuff on Youtube. :B

Date: 2007-09-10 02:29 am (UTC)Woah, the second one :O I've never seen that episode, but man now I really want to because it looks awesome. They all look so serious in it, too, which is strange. And awwwwww that part where James is about to fall for the second time and just before lets go Meowth and Jesse grab his hand |3 So precious.

Date: 2007-09-09 06:39 am (UTC)Poor baby Mewtwo. :O It's so weird for me though since I'm used to thinking of Amber as Ai, her Japanese name, which gives it this terribly sad undertone. D:

Date: 2007-09-09 06:46 pm (UTC)Yeah, I had a feeling this game was gonna be pretty hard XD I'm still on Easy mode and I keep messing up. And it doesn't help that I inadvertently wind up holding the guitar in this really bizarre way, which hurts my wrists. DURRRRRRR
