o hi new kingdom hearts games. Are they milking that series or what. Even though my interest in KH has kind of waned, I still might hafta check out the DS game :V It's a nostalgic series for me, leave me alone. Plus I hear there's scenes of Roxas and Axel watching the sunset and eating ice cream and talking about their feelings and that sounds too hilarious to pass up. Let's just hope the battle system isn't CARD BASED ADSHFGDGH
Also, the "lol new organization member" sounds... off-putting for some reason, I don't know why. 'Guess we'll just have to wait and see what that's all about. If it winds up being Namine or something dumb like that I'm gonna be so maaaaaad ooooooooo well not really. But that WOULD be lame |<

I had some dream last night that involved Guitar Hero causing an abundance of hookers. Okay then.

what was i OH YEAH I have something important to ask you guys. Well, sort of important. Not really. But I could still really use your input.

SO. I assume most of you have already seen this post, where I asked you which game you wanted me to take screenshots of next. Well, since Legend of Mana tied with FFIV, I decided to go out and hunt for a LoM ROM and see if I could actually FIND one before I decided on anything. I did! But you know what else I found? Final Fantasy 7-9. They run just fine, from what I've played. The sound is a little messed up, like the sound effects will sound wonky or the music will sometimes slow down for no reason, but I could probably fix that with a new plugin, and if not, then it could make for some interesting commentary. Plus it's not like anyone reading these will care much about the sound effects, anyway, since they can't hear them and all. Also, the screencapping function is a liiiiiiittle on the slow side, and I think it may be because a.) the screenshots are so big, and b.) ePSXe likes to make a special .txt file for each shot, like a little birth certificate or something. So that'll make it tricky to screencap cutscenes and stuff. There might be a way for me to fix these things, but I haven't really looked into that, yet.

Another thing that probably isn't even really worth mentioning, but I'm going to anyway because I'm in a talky mood tonight: I'm kiiind of paranoid about legal stuff. I know, I know, I share music and games and junk I've downloaded without even blinking an eye, but something about sharing PSX ROMs just feels... more illegal than usual or something I DON'T KNOW. And logically I know that I own these games in real life, I'm not making any money from doing these, Sony doesn't even make these games anymore (well, to my knowledge, anyway. I know they're doing some pay-to-download thing for the PSP where you can get PSX games, though. kind of like the Wii's Virtual Console), I'm only sharing them with a very small group of people since not a lot of people read this journal in the first place, and the chances of THE MAN finding my little podunk LiveJournal on the vast spectrum that is the Internet is very slim. But my brainmeats cannot help but feel nervous. I've thoguht about making a special little friends only journal specifically for doing PSX runthroughs, but I don't know how well that would work out. SUGGESTIONS? OBJECTIONS? REASSURANCE?

KIND OF WENT ON A RANT THERE BUT WHAT I'M TRYING TO ASK IS uhhh do you guys want me to do one of these, instead? :B I've been wanting to share these for a while, particularly FF7, but I just could never find the right tools. But now I have them. I could totally do these if you want me to, or I could just go with the original plan and do either FFIV or LoM. It's all up to you guys.
