It turns out the pen side of my tablet pen is broke, but the eraser works perfectly. I was going to try and take it apart, see what I can do, but that's... a lot harder than it sounds. H-how do you disassemble a Graphire3 tablet pen, exactly? You're not supposed to twist it, right? Because I've been pulling, and it's... not really doing anything. I can't find any guides and I have no idea where my tablet's manual is. halp
I'm thinking once it's 2009, I'm gonna start taking some life drawing classes (it's fine that I'm underage as long as my parents sign for it, r-right). I'm gonna write that on my annual to-do list. New Year's resolutions, whatever
Speaking of which, I do to-do lists all the time, but I've noticed that I need to make everything I write on them real specific. I can't just put down "draw" and nothing else, because I get too caught up in the details. How long do I draw? Do I do practice or do I work on a "real" picture? Do I finish something? How much do I have to do before it's enough to cross it out? It's like I can't just decide on that when I get there, it's so weird. I have to have a plan. Practice with Pose Maniacs for 30-60 minutes while having Seinfeld on for fun, finish lineart on [blahblah] pic. Read five chapters of this thing afterwards.
Honestly, I think a lot of it is that having specific things for me to do makes it easier for me to cross them off the list. Seriously, I love crossing things off the list. IT'S CHANGE YOU CAN SEE
But I dunno, what about you guys? Do you wing things or make plans?Am I weird for even thinking about this
Soccer practice. Why have I not seen this until today
By the way, did you know John accidentally wound up going to a gay bar on his birthday? I think he stayed, too, because he sent us a picture of himself while he was there, just drunkenly staring at the camera while wearing a little hat. this family, i swear
Uhhh oh yeah:
→ A N O N _ M E M E
Please be honest!
NEXT ENTRY WILL BE MORE INTERESTING, I KNOW THIS FOR SURE
