hay guys my Cloud figurine got here! It actually got here a week or two ago, I just forgot to mention it :B

He has found a spot on my bookcase, next to my globe and "bookmarks."



So now I have a Cloud figurine and two posters with Cloud on them. All of these things are glaring at me as we speak. SO MUCH NEGATIVE ENERGY OMG


WHILE I'M AT IT CHECK OUT MY LAME PLAY-DOH PEASLEY I MADE ON CHRISTMAS

YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO MAKE A PARROT, BUT I WAS FEELING REBELLIOUS

I would've given him, well, actual clothes, but there wasn't any white Play-Doh and any other color would've looked terrible (the thing only came with yellow, red, and green). Eh well.


I even made his rose, which wound up being overly difficult to do because Play-Doh sucks and doesn't want to stick. I had a lot of trouble with that while I was making Peasley himself, too -- I wanted his head to be a circle and his body be square, but his head kept falling off like that so I had to mesh it all together. Now he is round. LIKE A BEAN


I like how I manage to remember that Peasley has a little emblem thing on his cape, but not that his cape is white and not red. ADURR

Golden Sun - Gameboy Advance
Pros:
-I just finished with a power play of this game, so everything is still FRESH IN MA MAAAAHND sort of. I have a bad habit of immediately forgetting things once I'm done with them. ANYWAY
-Beautiful soundtrack, which I have.
-Lovable characters.
-Funny dialogue.
-This game can be pretty touching :O
Cons:
-Is kind of just your typical anime RPG-type game, so I dunno how interesting that would be for some people.
-A little tl;dr. Seriously, the characters never stop talking. Ever.
-Pretty long.


Chrono Trigger - SNES
Pros:
-This is really just an all-around great game, and is considered to be one of the classics. With good reason!
-Great soundtrack. AND I HAVE IT!
-Interesting characters.
-Can be very moving. And creepy. And depressing. And AWESOME.
Cons:
-This is a VERY popular game and A LOT of people have already played it, so it might be sort of... I dunno, boring for a lot of people, maybe? I don't know.
-Very long; would take a while.


Sanitarium WHY IS THERE NO TITLE SCREEN - PC
Pros:
-Shortish, I think? At least compared to what I've done so far, I guess. Anyway, I don't think it would take too long.
-Very creepy. I've been wanting to do a creepy game, actually :B
-Fascinating characters and plot. The protagonist is especially endearing, if you ask me.
-Pretty obscure, so it would be NEW and EXCITING omg. I dunno. I SUCK AT THIS
Cons:
-I dunno whether this is the ROM or my computer, but cutscenes like... don't really want to play properly. It'll just show this still frame, and it changes every time there's a new bit of dialogue. I could still get the bare basics, but I couldn't create much of an "authentic" feel, if you guys even care about that.
-Again, dunno if this is the ROM or the comp, but I can't hear voices. They might play on rare occasion, but most of the time it's just silent, soooo uh I couldn't really record anyone's voices so you guys can hear them. There IS someone doing a walkthrough on YouTube, so I could just record from that, but they don't talk to everyone, so :O AGAIN, I DON'T KNOW IF YOU GUYS EVEN REALLY CARE ABOUT THAT, BUT I'M JUST SAYIN'
-Screenshots are kinda big, as you probably noticed. So I might have to make each episode a little shorter, just so I wont kill you guys' computers or anything :O


Mario Is Missing (Deluxe Version) - DOS
Pros:
-Completely and unintentionally hilarious.
-Pretty short, I think, so I could just fly through it.
-Would just be somethin' fun to do.
Cons:
-...the pros are about it, really.

Kind of a tough choice this time. In my opinion, anyway. I was going to put some PSX games on there, but I still have a buncha things I need to work out with those, so I thought I'd do something else in the meantime. Maybe next time, though!

*pokes head in* I've played some of Chrono Cross. If you ask me, it's eye-bleedingly pretty, but not much else. It feels nothing like Chrono Trigger, has WAAAAAAAAAY too many playable characters, and pretty much the single most awkward battle system in the history of ever. We're lucky it didn't wind up being card-based, it's so bad. >_O; Oh, and the plot is hard to follow and doesn't give you a lot of reason to keep playing, unlike CT.

But who knows, I've met people who loved it. :/

Kirby is love! :D I should download the rest of the fansubbed anime series, come to think of it...

yes, with the one remaining seedling and the husband of that one family who went into the storage to find food and never returned, then you found out he actually died on his way there... (duhhh what a run-on |D) but man, yeah, that sequence both creeped me out and depressed me tremendously, too. i always went back in time to visit them in between the other missions. ;_; ♥

Seems like almost everyone's voting for Mario, but sounds like they're both pretty short, so one after the other maybe? :O

I was actually thinking of seeing if anyone wanted to see a Chrono Trigger SCA, oddly enough. I'm doing another game first (I need to actually... post that, heh. When I get home from work tonight, probably) but even though CT is the RPG that everyone's played, it's a paragon of its genre and I could play it through fifty times in a row and not be tired of it. X3 <3 And it would be SO fun to do/read commentary on. <3

That would totally be my third vote if you get to it! :D (RPG I'm doing is likewise fairly long, so you might get through even two short games before I'm done. And I have plenty of other, crazy obscure games I want to subject people to. XD)

I'm the same way, actually! I love Chrono Trigger to death; I can play it all day and not get bored. It's just so addicting and really manages to draw you in and the music and characters and plot and man it's just great. Now I wanna play it.

Heee, yes! Also CT contains one of the few female video game characters who seriously rock my world - Lucca! <33 Oh, well... Ayla's pretty damn badass too. <3 But Lucca!

I actually just gave in and bought FF Chronicles AGAIN for the spiffed-up CT. (Actually, it's not that spiffed up... sure the cutscenes are neat and so are the extras, but it lags a lot more and has all those irritating load times compared to the cart. WHICH I ALSO OWN. :D) I like don't give a crap about FF4 pffffft but YEAH CT <3
