Yep :B I was playing it tonight and wound up getting all the shots I needed for another episode, so I decided I'd go ahead and get it out there. HERE WE GO GUYS, TIME FOR THE BIG FINALE. ARE YOU SURE YOU'RE READY FOR THIS

I can't be the only one out there who keeps forgetting that King Mickey is supposed to be important. Nobody talks about him ever.

like how Kairi promised to protect Heartless-Sora from the Shadows then as soon as they moved she turned around and was like soooraaaaaa

This place is like a fancy asylum.
FIELD SHOOTTTTSS. *arm pump*
NEOSHADOW I think that's what it's called. The Shadow look-alike there. I didn't get a shot, sadly, but when they'd go into the ground like Shadows it looked like they were running on their sides and they'd spin around and stuff. LIKE THIS!
When you'd unlock doors here you'd sometimes get these little "meanwhile" cutscenes. Here's one of them!

Look at all the cards I had to get for that one door! And it took me forever to find a blue, 1-criteria card. STUPID DOOR.
Hee, a couple of times I got Heartless mobs that consisted of nothing but those whatchamacallit-Heartless. I remember the blue one is Blue Rhapsody but I'm not sure if the other colors have different names. OH WELL
And you can see that I've maxed my HP and Sleights. You only get a maximum of 560 HP, and then all the bosses have like 1.5k. LAME.
I finished at level 78, by the way.

There isn't even much of a point to "finishing off" Axel, though! And why did he listen to Marluxia, anyway? I mean, at this point, I think Sora's just starting to enjoy killing people.
Axel was hard at first. He killed me a couple times and such. But then once I reorganized my deck, this battle was a piece of cake.

Really, I have no idea what he's talking about. It was probably explained in past episodes or in KH2 or something, and I'd go check but honestly once I'm done with these screencaps I never want to see anything KH-related ever again. Riku is dead inside. Like a stripper.
That scythe is about as manly as an EasyBake oven.
Marluxia was incredibly easy. I beat him on the first try. I didn't even have to reorganize my deck or anything.

Hey, at least you only have to fight one fake in CoM. In KH1 and 2 you had to fight, like, TWENTY before you got to the actual guy.

He'd summon up these flower things that would turn into blades and slash you and it was really annoyingI CAN'T STOP LOOKING AT THE SPARKLES THEY'RE REALLY DISTRACTING

Sometimes you could jump up on his... flowering manbot and slash at him, but there was a random, unexplained wind that would try to push you off. Also, there were flowers that would shoot pink lasers at you. So it was kind of hard.
DEFEAT
Marluxia, again, wasn't hard at all. He just had really obnoxious attacks. Also, you could only hit him at particular times. For example, he'd summon those flower lasers, right? If you destroyed one of the lasers, then you could attack him for a set period of time. Usually only long enough to get two slashes in. And he only summons three lasers, and on the last one you don't get to slash him because he immediately initiates a new attack. And when he has a million bars of HP and you only do like two damage, this makes things really boring italics
The dying animation makes it worthwhile, though. THE CHERRY BLOSSOMS SLOWLY DRIFT AWAY
"Huh. That was kind of cool."

... wait, so that's it? That's the last you hear from Riku?
And didn't she JUST SAY THINGS DIDN'T WORK THAT WAY OR AM I JUST MISSING SOMETHING. IT'S 2 AM RIGHT NOW, I'M NOT THINKING AS CLEARLY AS I COULD BE. Is it because Riku was "created"? Or is that the real Riku? They didn't really make it clear whether that was the real Riku or not -- they kept kinda hopping back and forth. Larxene was saying how this Riku was a "toy", yet now they're acting like he's the real Riku. They did the same thing with Namine, actually. I don't know.
what about your CHILDHOOD FRIEND. WTF. MAYBE BEING SLEEP-DEPRIVED IS MAKING ALL OF THIS FLY RIGHT OVER MY HEAD BUT REALLY

AND THERE WE HAVE IT.
I'm actually kind of meh on the ending. Super corny, even by Kingdom Hearts standards. And I don't like how Riku pretty much got snubbed, even if that was a fake Riku. Or was it? I'm confused. Also, as the game went on, I started to like Sora less and less. His Namine-obsession kind of dragged on, as did his overly-dramatic speeches about promises and memories and hearts and good luck charms. It just bugged me that he hardly seemed to care about anything other than Namine, and it bugged me that as soon as he found out about her then the game suddenly turned into a CRAZY RUNAWAY TRAIN OF CHEESY TEEN ROMANCE and DID NOT VEER IN ANY OTHER DIRECTION. And that bugged me in KH2 as well. It wasn't near as bad as this was, though.
But that's just my opinion. :B COMPLAINING IS FUN WEEEE
Despite my whining and mediocre commentary I hope everyone enjoyed this fun romp through the first half of Chain of Memories :D We're actually not done, yet! There's a super secret special second half of the game! I'm not gonna start on it until I finish these pictures, though. I really need to do that. Tomorrow. God, it's 3 AM as I write this. These take too long to make.

The two friendships just weren't balanced very well. Or something. I slept forever and I'm still tired, what's with that.
