1. What's your favorite color combination? - Haha, this is tough for me because I like every color ever, buuut... anything with green. Also, red and blue. And orange and purple. And yellow and gray. And orange and blue. And even though pink is probably my least favorite color, I still like BLINDING NEON PINK with a lot of things. Actually, I like real bold, bright colors in general, like the sort of things you find in, say, Jet Set Radio or No More Heroes, so anything involving that kind of color scheme is sure to win me over. And man I could go on about colors for hours, you don't even know
2. The last movie you watched? Was it any good? - I watched Rocky Horror for the first time and thought it was pretty funny. :B
3. I need to have one food question so uh ICE CREAM OR FROZEN YOGURT THERE CAN ONLY BE ONE - ICE CREAM FOREVER
4. The weirdest dream you had recently? - I had this dream last night where I ate Reese's cereal. Not Reese's Puffs, but just... chocolate milk with big chunks of Reese's in it. It was dreamalicious and probably comes from the fact that I've been wanting peanut butter but can't have any because of the whole salmonella scare. I have a difficult life
5. If you had to choose one fictional world to live in for the rest of your life, which one would it be? - DUDE POKEMON IT'D BE SO AWESOME
hudhfgkdjg we're out of melatonin and we're iced in, this sucks. Stupid insomnia. At least I've been getting some artwork done. :T I'll do a post once I have a bigger stockpile.

3. OKAY SO LIKE, you're being mugged or something and you have the ability to summon ONE fictional character to rescue you. WHO IS IT
4. What's your favorite game genre?
5. NAME AT LEAST ONE NERVOUS HABIT I'm just gonna ask this to everyone

Date: 2009-01-29 09:44 pm (UTC)Japan's a close second, because it may be the land of crazy and win, but their way of life is a little intense for me.
2. EVERYTHING IS BETTER BETWEEN BREAD but, hmm, I really like luncheon meat. Pork-based salty delicious things. So I'm quite happy with ham and/or other cold cuts, maybe with alfalfa sprouts, tomato and avocado in my ideal world.
3. Vincent Valentine, because then it'd be an awesome physics-defying FMV rescue. (Or possibly a hilarious Legotacular rescue.)
4. I like watching games stories unfold more than the act of pushing buttons, really, but to actually play myself? I enjoy rhythm games most. DDR is a blast to get good at, and I'm the messenger of Elite Beat Agents come to tell yon mortals that MUSIC LIVES.
Second place to RPGs. Because I'm a freak and I like slow improbable turn-taking in combat, and have no problem with ten billion random encounters. As long as it's an RPG whose storyline isn't drowning in cliched fail.
5. I pick at my lower lip a lot. Occasionally enough to draw blood, but keeping my nails short helps. Actually, I do it when bored as much as when nervous.
My answers are crossposted to my Insanejournal (http://pyrasaur.insanejournal.com/29266.html). Okay, question hurricane, readyGO!
1) If you were a Pokemon (like, one reflecting your nature, not necessarily your coolest favourite), what would you be?
2) Have you ever had those tiny little cheese wheels that come coated in red wax?
3) Congratulations! You get to go on a shopping spree with any Ace Attorney character you want! Who do you pick and where would you drag them?
4) Ketchup or barbeque sauce?
5) So, what's the closest book, magazine or other printed material sitting next to you right now? O rly? What's the first line of text say?
no subject
Date: 2009-01-29 10:45 pm (UTC)2. NOPE
3. LARRY, because I bet Larry would be a kickass person to hang out with. I WOULDN'T EVEN CARE WHERE WE WENT
Though, knowing me, I'd probably go to Best Buy :B
4. Barbeque. I think.
5. The closest book is Animal Farm by George Orwell (still need to start it adurr), and the very first sentence is: "George Orwell (pseudonym of Eric Blaire [1903-50] was born in Bengal and educated at Eton; after service with the Indian Imperial Police in Burma, he returned to Europe to earn his living penning novels and essays."
ORRRRR if you don't care about introduction crap: "Mr. Jones, of the Manor Farm, had locked the hen-houses for the night, but was too drunk to remember to shut the popholes."

1. So, say you could have one body part that was SUPER STRONG, like one super muscular LEG or ARM or your NECK or something. WHAT IS IT
2. Favorite movie?
3. What song (or songs) have you been real into, lately?
4. If you could go on any game show, what would it be?
5. Since you mentioned EBA, what's once task you're currently facing (or are going to face) in your life that would warrant an agent-summoning cry of HEEEEELLLP from you?
BONUS: WHAT SONG WOULD THEY DANCE TO
no subject
Date: 2009-01-30 12:46 am (UTC)2) I don't think I've ever loved a movie like I love WALL-E.
3) I've been listening to Nightwish's stuff a lot. And Kitty-N's song (http://ca.youtube.com/watch?v=pcLox-o5GKU&). And DOGFIGHT (http://ca.youtube.com/watch?v=1hBThwQffJE) (here, have a download (http://www.sendspace.com/file/lrza0p) of that one).
4) Deal or No Deal, because there's nothing harder about it than being smart enough to bail once a quarter-million-ish offer comes up!
5) Oh man, I totally started drawing a comic where my rent was overdue and my only chance was to sell a novel. So I HEEEEAAALPed -- it's a verb now -- and the Agents showed up on unicycles. And then I got sick of drawing.
...
Aaaaand I don't seem to have written down the song I had in mind on that sketch sheet, wow, I suck. I'm going to guess the song was It's Raining Men, because I love that kind of sassy cheese. But yeah, if I'm going to beat the odds and make a living of my writing eventually, Agent help would be nice!

1) What's your favourite article of jewelry or other personal decoration?
2) If you had a Limit Break/Trance mode/Overdrive/whatever you want to call it, what would it do?

4) Preferred condiments on a hotdog?
5) Can you whistle?

... I need a haircut.
2. First I'd smack them around with a shovel, and then I'd punch them in the face so hard that their head flew into the sun, and then I'd shoot their body a few times, and then I'd set it on fire, and then stomp it out (for four hours), and then I'd go get some pizza.
3. Be happy. I don't mean this in a LOL CHEER UP *HUGZ* sort of way, I mean, really DECIDE to be happy. A mistake a lot of people make is thinking that happiness is a destination, like it's something not yet obtainable to them but it will be after years of working towards it. That's a lie. Nothing and nobody has more control over what you feel than you, and trust me when I say that you're worth a damn.
4. Salt.
5. Ssssssssort of. It's really faint.

1. Are you good at doing math in your head?
2. Are you allergic to anything?
3. What's your greatest piece of life advice? 8|
4. What's something funny that happened to you recently?
5. What's your favorite kind of coat or jacket?

Date: 2009-01-31 03:44 am (UTC)1) Gah, no! Which sucks for someone prone to working as a waitress.
2) Not that I know of, although large amounts of citrus fruit and/or tomatoes make me mildly itchy the next day.
3) Always strive to be better. Even the slightest bit better is still better, and hey, you're auto-awesome for improving yourself. (And I like your advice, it's very true.)
4) My roommate tagged along with me while I was making a waxing appointment the other day. I said something like, "I hope they can fit me in or else I'll have to go around all fuzzy!" He ellipsised at me. I spluttered, "Uhh ... Not that there's anything wrong with being fuzzy." See, because roomie dearest is a freaking furry. XD
5) Something sleek and black, and ideally long. Gives you an elegant silhouette, and makes a nice background for a fluffy colourful scarf!
~~
1) Is there a fandom you feel bad because you should love it, but you just somehow don't?
2) Favourite highly politically incorrect phrase?
3) When someone says, "Hold it!" or "Take that!" or anything IRL, do you have a hard time not snickering?
4) I-Is Hetalia fandom wanky? Or is it mostly people on the outside wanking at it, I can't tell from here and I have to know these things.
5) What's your favourite lolcat? Y'know, Longcat or Happycat or whatever.
no subject
Date: 2009-01-31 05:50 am (UTC)1. I don't really pay attention to fandom anymore, but when I do go into fandoms I have... pretty low expectations, so it doesn't surprise me a whole lot when they wind up being annoying, haha. But... maybe the Hotel Dusk fandom? I mean, Hotel Dusk is one of my favorite games and I've met some awesome people through it, but it seems like whenever I go looking for fanworks, it's just... what.
It's not all bad, though!
2. What do you get when you have 32 Arkansas lawyers in one room?
A full set of teeth.
yuk yuk yuk
okay yeah i'm too big of a wuss answer with anything too bad3. YES
And also "objection" for whenever I'm reading/watching something with lawyers.
4. I'm not too sure! I don't really pay attention to fanbases, like I mentioned aufghkd
I think all the wank is mostly just kept in
5. Serious Cat.
---
1. Who's your favorite fanartist?
2. Have you ever had fandom sort of... run into real life? Like when I had been playing Katamari nonstop and kept getting the urge to roll things up, or when I took a break from playing tons of RE4 to go to Wal-Mart and, upon seeing the gun/ammo section, immediately thought "YES YES YES I COULD TAKE ON THOUSANDS OF ZOMBIES BEFORE RUNNING OUT OF-- oh wait"?
3. What is your accent like?
4. Is there something you would change about your favorite fandom?
5. Sooooo what cosplay are you gonna do next?
no subject
Date: 2009-01-31 08:12 pm (UTC)2) Boy, do I! Katamari just does that to you. And one time I had been playing a lot of Star Control 2, and I just happened to be outside and look up at the sky. It was a very clear winter night, so a bright star caught my eye, and I instantly thought, "Oh, hey, I haven't mined that one!"
3) Americans tell me I don't sound particularly Canadian (by which they mean I don't have the heavy east coast "no doot aboot it" accent). But I find a bit of that creeps in when I'm excited, I get a bit ... nasal and "eh?"-ish.
4) I don't like the divide in Ace Attorney fandom since GS4 came out. I mean, I wouldn't deny people their Apollo Justice, but I miss the days where everyone had one continuity to share
and Godot got more love.5) I'm doing Red XIII for Anime North, in his crappy human disguise from when he had to sneak on board that ship. Because that was some fail for the ages. XD
~~~
1) What's your favourite stage of EBA (or Ouendan)?
2) Are you prone to doing that girly thing where you put on an outfit and you're just not feeling it that day, and you need to change clothes a few times?
3) Favourite type of alien design? Like, the grey-skinned huge-black-eyes kind, or green tentaclethings, or what?
4) What's the thickest book you personally own?
5) Which existing fandom do you think would be the coolest with a zombie apocalypse AU plotline in its canon?
no subject
Date: 2009-01-31 09:23 pm (UTC)2. Nah.
3. I've always loved the Spathi's design :B
4. Probably one of the Harry Potter ones, from when I still liked that series kdjhg
5. GOD HAND or No More Heroes.
---
1. What's something on your "Need to Play/Read/Watch" list?
2. Would you rather be colorblind or tone deaf?
3. Pirates or ninjas?
4. Favorite flavor of ice cream?
5. What's a talent or skill you wish you had?
no subject
Date: 2009-01-31 10:09 pm (UTC)1) The Temeraire series, I'm on the second book but I need to read it faster.
2) Tone deaf, because I liek colours. And besides, the roomie is red-green colourblind and I can to see how annoying it can be.
3) Pirates! Also, my parents have hilariously strong opinions on this subject, and we've discussed pirates versus ninjas together on more than one occasion.
4) Chocolate with things in it. Fudge chunks or cookie dough or caramel ripples or whatever.
5) Hmmm ... I wish I had a good memory for people. I'm pretty faily at remembering people I've only seen casually a few times, or old coworkers I only knew for a month.
~~~
1) Do you find Family Guy funny?
2) Pudding or Jell-o?
3) If you were an X-men type superhero, what would your power and alias be?
4) Since you mentioned Harry Potter, which Potterverse animal would you want as a pet if you could be sure it wouldn't bite or destroy your house or anything?
5) Would you ever want to own a barbeque? One of the huge ones that can cook enough to feed everyone you've ever met?
no subject
Date: 2009-01-31 11:14 pm (UTC)too many things i need to get, not enough time/will/money dfkhjg
1. Maybe when I was thirteen, but not anymore.
2. OH GOD there is this pudding mix I get every now and then that's vanilla with chocolate chips in it, and it is so amazingly delicious. I think the fact that we drink raw milk makes it better; I'm not sure if it'd be as rich, otherwise. But either way, so good and now i want some audfhgkad
3. I would be THE REMOTE, with the ability to control time omg
but uhhh i can't screw around too much or it'd cause a time paradox
and also if i do it too long then i die or something
i dunno dkfjghd
4. Uhhh... maybe a phoenix, because that thing was really useful at the end of Chamber of Secrets.
5. Nahhh, probably not. I only like a few barbeque foods, and I can go buy those pretty easily :T
---
1. Do you drink? Do you have a favorite drink?
2. Do you keep calendars after you use them, or chuck 'em?
3. Got anything you collect?
4. How many gaming systems do you own (including handhelds)?
5. What's something you believed in as a kid that makes you laugh now?
no subject
Date: 2009-02-02 07:49 pm (UTC)1) I drink occasionally, the odd beer or glass of wine after work, maybe a few screwdrivers if I'm out somewhere with intent to get drunk. I'm a major lightweight, though. It saves me money but gets me mocked. XD
2) I throw them out unless I want to keep the pictures for collages or something.
3) Hmm. I don't tend to like useless knickknacky things, so none of that type of collecting. Kitchen gear might count. I own an oyster knife. You know, in case I suddenly need to shuck oysters.
4) I have an N64, a Gameboy Advance SP, a PS2 (that is a piece of crap and freezes all the time even though I paid Sony $115 to fix it), and a DS Lite. Me and Dashie-roomie went half on the Wii and PS3, so I guess there'll be a custody battle eventually.
5) Bleh, I don't like to think about my stupid child self. But the logical deduction that French was just pretentious English still amuses me. Le table and les chairs, oh ho ho, fancy!
~~~
1) This raw milk thing intrigues me! Do you notice a different taste to pasteurized milk, or is it just creamier?
2) What was your longest ever single-sitting video game marathon, and which game was it?
3) Is there an animal you're scared of?
4) Do you have a favourite pair of socks?
5) Coke, Pepsi, or who the heck cares?
no subject
Date: 2009-02-03 03:25 am (UTC)2. Hahaha, I've had quite a few of those, it's hard to tell. I've easily gone around 20 hours before, though I can't remember which games. The craziest thing I've ever done in terms of marathons, though, would definitely be the MGS4 Countdown. It wasn't necessarily single-sitting, but I pretty much beat the first two Metal Gears and the three Metal Gear Solid games within the span of a few days, pausing every now and then to take naps/shower/eat/etc. I looked pretty run-down by the time I was done dkghjd BUT I DID IT! And then I wound up beating MGS4 in about a day. Go figure.
Huge marathon-type things aren't too common with me, though; I usually only play games for a couple of hours at a time. Sometimes I'll just get REALLY into a game, though, it's crazy.
3. I can get a little edgy around any animal I don't know, particularly dogs. I never know if they're gonna freak out on me or not.
... and now that I think about it, pretty much any wild animal would freak me out if I ran into it. I'm a big wuss.
4. Any of my business socks. I need more business socks. Even though I'm not in business. Whatever.
5. COKE FOREVER
IBC Root Beer's the best, though.
---
1. Do you have an HDTV?
2. What's something you were dying to get as a kid, but never got? Like how my sister always wanted a Ken doll, or how I always wanted that woodwork set.
3. Have you ever built anything?
4. What game on your PS2 memory card has the longest logged playtime?
5. Did you have any imaginary friends as a kid?
no subject
Date: 2009-02-04 05:41 pm (UTC)2) Hmm, nothing that I recall. I was happy with a few bins of toy dinosaurs and K'Nex.
3) I guess my cosplay pieces count. I've made wings out of coat hangers and fabric and paper mache and stuff, and made harnesses to wear them. Plus tails and character-head helmets and stuff. If you mean actual construction of furniture or machines or something, um, I dropped by my parents' various furniture stores growing up? I can assemble a coffee table under duress. XD
4) That's a good question and I don't remember which memory card is mine. I'm going to guess Final Fantasy X. I enjoy the battle mechanics and I spent a lot of time level-grinding to teach everyone shiny, shiny magic.
5) No, just lots of anthropomorphized toys. (... The imaginary friends came when I was a teenager. But they were really just my novel characters passing through while digging their way out of my brain.)
~~~
1) Your opinion on all the kerfluffle over peanut allergies nowadays?
2) If you could be a completely useless NPC in any video game, where would you be standing? And what would your single line of stupid dialogue be?
3) Do you prefer heat or cold?
4) Pasta or potatoes?
5) Have you ever had a paid part-time job?
