I'm too lazy to do big long descriptions like I used to do (plus, it's late), so I might just link most of these and leave it at that, haha. These are all things I've been really into lately, though, so... look around!
"Beautiful Name" - The Back Horn - I have been listening to this practically all day and can't stop. I don't know what it is, man.
"Keep the Car Running" - Arcade Fire - This is kind of corny, but I like it, I dunno. THE LYRICS ARE SLIGHTLY WORRISOME but it's so... cheerful. It sounds like it should play during the opening credits of a movie, haha.
"Last Day of Magic" - The Kills
"Scientist" - The Dandy Warhols
"We Used To Be Friends" - The Dandy Warhols - Someone made a pretty cute/funny fanvideo for this.
"While We Go Dancing" - White Rabbit
"You're a Wolf" - Sea Wolf - I still laugh at this

"Monkey's Uncle" - Annette Funicello - I remember when they used to play this on the Disney Channel (back when the Disney Channel was COOL), and I freakin' just... loved this song for some reason, I don't know. I'd always hope that they'd play it every time there was a commercial break and would get really excited whenever it came on, got all upset when I noticed they didn't play it anymore, etc. I looked for it years later for the longest time and could never find ANYTHING on it, until I eventually unzipped some random .zip file of classic Disney music I stumbled upon somewhere, and it was just. There. I was starting to wonder if I was the only one who even REMEMBERED that song, hahaha. It made my day.
"Bird Watching At Inner Forest" - Cornelius - Cornelius is a bit odd, but I like them a lot. Then again, I tend to like weird music like this.
"Smoke" - Cornelius
"Water Curses" - Animal Collective - Another weird song. How do I even describe it IT'S TOO LATE FOR THIS
"The Beat Goes On" - Buddy Rich
"Brown Sugar" - D'Angelo - I'M NOT REALLY SURE WHY I HAVE THIS SONG

"I'll Try Something New (feat. The Temptations)" - Diana Ross and the Supremes
"Baby Love" - Diana Ross and the Supremes
"Blister in the Sun" - Violent Femmes - This is one of those songs that I've heard a million times before and loved, never knew the name, then found it ages later and EXPLODED with nostalgia. It's always so cool when that happens.
"Now You're a Hero" - Reachground - FROM A VERY CHALLENGING GAME
"Call Me" - Nancy Wilson
"White Winter Hymnal" - Fleet Foxes - I have a short comic idea for this. Need to do that.
"Lemon Tree" - Fool's Garden
"Nantokanare (Full Size)" - Akagi - Still need to finish this series...
"Thank You" - Dido - I LOVE THIS SONG OKAY EVERYBODY SHUT UP
I don't usually go for these kinds of songs, though. I guess I just like it because it can mean friendship just as easily as romance, it's actually HAPPY, and, most of all, it's not asking for anything more than the other person's company. It's a nice change from all the WHY DOESN'T ANYONE LOVE MEEEE SOMEONE TAKE AWAY THE PAIN AND SET ME FREE OMG junk you see all over the place.

"My TV and You" - VAST - Everyone be sure to download this one, it's awesome. Haunting, but awesome
"Hawaii Five O" - The Ventures - This might sound familiar to anyone who has played God Hand, haha. What's weird is that-- I was listening to Gene's Rock-A-Bye one night, and then I suddenly remembered this Ventures album I downloaded a little while ago and went to go listen to that, clicked on this song at random, and it was the same thing skdjfghks. I THOUGHT Gene's Rock-A-Bye sounded familiar.
Speaking of which, some guy linked the entire God Hand OST in this video description, and I HIGHLY recommend going to download it, because holy crap that game has such an awesome soundtrack. TOO LAZY TO UPLOAD IT but no seriously, even if you haven't played the game

I had this to-do list all laid out for today and wound up accomplishing nothing but two really small things ffffffff
Also I spent like three hours tonight reading about nothing but just... sexist garbage. Why did I do that. I'm going to go to sleep and have annoying dreams now goddamn
