backupdump002Ugh, I've felt all nauseated today which is annoying. I've been chugging down cans of Canada Dry, though, which I think is helping. So that's good.
Anyway, time for a CoS episode, since I haven't done one in like THREE WEEKS. This one is brief 'cause I found a shortcut through the level. Hoo hoo

Sora's the most tolerant video game character ever I swear to god
Sounds simple, right? Sounds fun?
Well it ended up being the most IRRITATING THING IN THE GAME THUS FAR >(
If you're familiar with Winnie the Pooh at all, you'll know how FREAKING SLOWLY he walks, which made the whole thing seem like a chore. And plus, he'd stop every now and then and start thinking (BECAUSE IT'S IMPOSSIBLE TO THINK AND WALK AT THE SAME TIME), or he'd just stop for no reason and stare at you. Stare with his DEAD EYES. He'd also get distracted and start wandering off so you have to stop and get him ahfgalghdf FUCK YOU WINNIE THE POOH
'Forgot to take a screenshot in time so the logo's all faded. Ah well.
I found Rabbit!
OH BUT IT'S NOT A SIMPLE TASK OF JUST WALKING UP TO THEM NOOOOO you have to drag Pooh's FAT ASS all over the place and wait for him to do shit to get his friend's attention. Like jump in a wheelbarrow or fall in a hole.

Yeah, you could TALK to Rabbit which would get his attention BUT IT WOULDN'T GET HIS ATTENTION CORRECTLY OR SOMETHING SO WE HAVE TO FIND ANOTHER WAY

Pooh died. Actually no, he just RANDOMLY FELL ASLEEP which is another great Pooh-quirk you have to put up with. I've got a world to save, man, I don't have time to drag fucking narcoleptic bears all over the goddamn place. Fuck.
Finally, I found Piglet, and thankfully you didn't have to jump through any hoops to talk to him.
Well, we ARE searching for nobody, apparently.
I'm not sure I'm comfortable with how closely Pooh is standing behind Sora.

I have a feeling that I screwed something up or didn't get something important or that I'll have to go back there and finish it or something. BUT WHATEVER I triggered a Castle Oblivion cutscene nonetheless

But yeah, Riku was really easy which I'm glad about, since he was a jerk in KH1. I had to go through that tedious cutscene so many times it was just ridiculous.

And anyway, Riku called Sora by name and was like SINCE WHEN HAVE YOU CARED ABOUT ME and such, which isn't something you would ask someone you just met (... I think). If he had really forgotten about Sora, wouldn't he have been more like the folks in Twilight Town? Or did Jiminy mean that Riku didn't forget about Sora, but he just forgot that they were friends? And anyway, if the heartless aren't controlling him again then how did he turn into his heartless form? Is it something he can just turn into at will?
