God, when I first started on this level I remember Wish was over here, and we needed a card with a certain criteria to go on... I think it might've been 2 or something, and we could NOT FIND IT. We kept searching until she had to go, and then like two or three hours later I finally got it. Jesus.

Also, I forgot to take field shots of this place. WHOOP

He really has the greatest social skills ever.

There's that HER person again. Why is it anyone else's business what HER and Sora do in their spare time? And what kind of a name is HER, anyway? Sounds like a perfume. Or a robot. And not just any robot, but a really powerful one that would wind up being a boss in FF7 or something. Like that one with the cranes that would pick up your party members and swing them around, and you couldn't get them back unless you attacked the cranes. What am I talking about.

The screen's shaking if you can't tell :O

Riku just went from serious to the mocking big brother type to serious again. RIKU ARE YOU OFF YOUR MEDS AGAIN WHAT DID I TELL YOU ABOUT BLAH BLAH BLAH

They decided to remain friends, though. *badum-ching*

And now you'll fight... the heartless whose name I forgot. But knowing this game it was probably Dark Shadow Darkness XI or something to that effect.

This battle was weird mainly because the screen would shift around a lot, particularly when the monster would do an attack of some sort. Like in the second shot in these three, you can't really tell, but that's actually just a shot of the hand. It was crazy. And this battle/monster reminded me of the King of All Cosmos and I'm not entirely sure why.

DARKSIDE that's what it's called!

That would explain why Sora decided to just stroll into some giant, malicious castle he found.

The island's supposed to be waving and freaking out in this shot. You can sort of tell, but not really.

This boss battle is the reason this episode is so late. If I was given the opprotunity to play this game again I would refuse, simply because I wouldn't want to have to fight Riku IV or whatever again. I don't have the energy to full-out rant on it right now but god do I hate this battle with a burning passion. Square played a pretty evil trick here in that they have you battle Riku two bazillion times before and he's incredibly easy, so when he shows up this time you're all "oh pfft it's Riku this will be a cinch."

But nooooooo now suddenly he can fly and shoot lasers and run a million miles an hour and KILL YOU GOD I HATE THIS BATTLE

One of his attacks was he'd like... fly around and ram into you several times (once he hits you you can't get out of the attack, by the way), then when he was done he'd make lightning bolts shoot out from of the ground, and if the lightning hit you then not only would it hurt you even more, but you'd get Confusion. All Confusion really does is reverse your directional pad controls for a while but IT WAS PRETTY INCONVEINIENT >(

This was the only "me dying" screen I saved from this battle. THERE WERE MANY MORE, BELIEVE ME.

SO MUCH HATE.

God just look at how low my HP bar is. You can only imagine how frantic I was trying to finish Riku off. I even started chanting "don't die" over and over again. I WAS DESPERATE TO GET THROUGH THIS STUPID FIGHT

WHEN I FINALLY BEAT HIM I WAS OVERCOME WITH SO MUCH JOY THAT I WENT INTO A BLISSFUL DAZE AND COULDN'T REALLY DO MUCH OF ANYTHING EXCEPT MAKE MY SCREENSHOT-TAKING FINGER TWITCH EVERY NOW AND THEN

He smacked Sora off-screen here but I didn't capture that very well :<

I am enjoying this conversation greatly and I really want to say why but I know some people reading this either haven't played or haven't finished KH2, and it's kind of a spoiler, so I WILL REFRAIN

Aaaand I didn't recover from the Riku battle so I was thrown into this one with pretty much no HP. WOOOO

Larxene's battle wasn't really hard, just frustrating. She attacks really quickly and seamlessly, so once you get hit by her it's hard to get away.

But WITH A HEAVY HEART I defeated her.
